Everything You Need to Know Before the Fifth Annual Road Race

The Lutzie 43 Foundation is excited to host the fifth annual Road Race again on August 3rd at Lassiter High School in Marietta. The Road Race is special to the Lutzie 43 Foundation and Lutzenkirchen family, as it was one of the first events the foundation hosted shortly after Philip’s passing in 2014. The Road Race is an opportunity for the community and supporters to come together and remember Philip’s legacy, fellowship, and character. Here is everything you need to know before the Road Race!

Registration

This year’s event features a 5k and 1-mile kids fun-run around the Marietta and Lassiter High School community.

If you can’t make it to Marietta but still want to run, register as a virtual runner and run from your neighborhood with your friends or by yourself! See Virtual Runs below to find or start one near you.

You can support the Lutzie 43 Foundation without even running! Sign up to be part of the fun by registering to fundraise for the foundation. The top three fundraisers win a prize!

On-site online registration closes July 31st, on-site registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. EST on August 3rd.

Claim your personal fundraising page

Once you register, you will receive an email from the Lutzie 43 Foundation containing the link to your personal fundraising page. After you claim your page, you can create and personalize your page, add a picture, your reason for supporting the Lutzie 43 Foundation, and more. From there, share your page on social media or in emails to your friends and family, along with a description of why you support the foundation, encouraging them to make a donation. Any donation, big or small, will make an impact and help save and change lives.

Virtual runs

We are excited that the Road Race has grown to numerous virtual runs across the country! On August 3rd, supporters of the foundation will be running in memory of Philip across the country. There are virtual runs being hosted in Birmingham, Montgomery, Nashville, Chicago, Indianapolis, San Diego, Miami, Bluffton, and more! Live in one of these areas? Register for the virtual run in your location! If you’d like to start a virtual run where you are, email us at info@lutzie43.org to let us know!
