The 43 Day Campaign is a Lutzie 43 Foundation tradition that allows us to continue our mission of ending distracted and impaired driving and sharing Philip’s legacy. During the last 43 days of 2021, we will be raising money to help us kick off 2022 the right way and grow our impact from year to year. The campaign kicks off on November 19 and continues through December 31. We have set a fundraising goal of raising $55,000 before the year ends and need your help to reach the goal! 

We continue Philip’s legacy through our mission, ending distracted and impaired driving, Adaptive PE Field Days, and our PFL Scholarships. Funds raised from the 43 Day Campaign go directly towards these initiatives. Philip had a special place in his heart for those with special needs, that is why we host our Adaptive PE Field Day. These days are full of fun and laughter as students with disabilities enjoy a day outside with special equipment they can play on. Our PFL Scholarship stands for Prepared for Life Scholarship but those who knew Philip, know that PFL also stands for Philip Francis Lutzenkirchen. These $4,300 scholarships are awarded to students who are positive ambassadors for safe driving and carry out Philip’s positive character attributes daily. Our 43 Key Seconds safe driving initiative was established to prevent what happened to Philip from happening to others. Funds for this initiative are used to distribute our 43 Key Seconds keys to drivers and serve as a reminder to take 43 Key Seconds to have a clear head, clear hands, clear eyes and click your seatbelt before starting your car. 

Donations to the 43 Day Campaign help us to continue to move forward and create more positive ambassadors through Philip’s legacy and passing. 

Throughout the 43 Day Campaign and always, we remember the life and legacy of Philip Lutzenkirchen. Philip was known for his kindness, work ethic, and humility.
