Abby Lutzenkirchen Joins Lutzie 43 Board of Directors

Please help us welcome Abby Lutzenkirchen, Philip’s youngest sister, to the Lutzie 43 Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Abby is a program associate at The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. In this role she manages the work of associate-led grant making for Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, Atlanta United Foundation and PGA TOUR Superstore Community Fund. Additionally, Abby serves as the assistant grants administrator and carries out research projects for the Foundation.

In 2016, Abby graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. A four-year starter and member of the Crimson Tide women’s soccer team, Abby was named captain her senior year, was named the 2015 SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year, and played 6,724 minutes in her Crimson Tide Career – breaking the record for the most in program history.

Outside of work, Abby spends her free time as an assistant coach for the Atlanta United Special Olympics Unified team, which is comprised of athletes and partners from the Cobb County Special Olympics.

“Being added to the board for Lutzie 43 is one of the best opportunities to help live out the plan that God has for Lutzie 43,” Abby said. “We have such influential and experienced people on the board, and I am excited to learn and grow from each of them. I cannot think of a better way to share Philip’s legacy and grow closer to my brother in the process.”

Abby brings a unique perspective to the board as the youngest board member of the foundation. She’s helped us behind the scenes since 2014 and we are excited to officially have her join us!
