Road Race
The Road Race was one of the first events the foundation hosted after Philip’s passing. This annual 5k run takes place in Marietta, Georgia and sees over 1,000 onsite runners with hundreds of runners joining virtually from wherever they are in the country! This event takes place on the first weekend in August.
Golf Invitational
The annual Lutzie 43 Golf Invitational takes place at Pursell Farm’s beautiful FarmLinks golf course in Sylacauga, Alabama. Foursomes enjoy a day out on the links followed by a dinner and a Fireside Chat from celebrity guests like Tom Rinaldi, Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit and more.
43 Day Campaign
Our annual 43 Day Campaign is the largest fundraiser for the Lutzie 43 Foundation. Together, we’ve made a positive impact on the lives of drivers across the southeast, but we need your help to finish this year strong and start 2025 in the right direction.
Adapted P.E. Field Days
Philip held a special place in his heart for those with special needs. Our Adapted P.E. Field Days allow students with special needs and disabilities to enjoy a field day outside with special, unique equipment. The Lutzie 43 Foundation provides transportation to these events, rents the equipment and provides volunteers to run these events.
