Join Us in Making a Difference Through the 43 Day Year-End Campaign
Our annual 43 Day Year-End Campaign is the largest fundraiser for the Lutzie 43 Foundation. Every donation helps us inspire smarter, safer drivers and continue the legacy of Philip Lutzenkirchen. Together, we’ve made a positive impact on our roadways, but we need your help to finish this year strong and start 2026 in the right direction.
This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 from November 19 – December 31, the last 43 days of the year.
Donate $1,000 over the next 43 days and be entered to win!
Support the mission, and if your total contributions reach $1,000 during this 43-day period, you’ll be automatically entered into a drawing for a golf twosome at our 10th Annual Golf Invitational on Thursday, April 30th at the beautiful FarmLinks Golf Course at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, AL.
What do donations support?
43 Key Seconds
Funds raised help us educate drivers and passengers about the dangers of distracted, impaired and unsafe driving through our 43 Key Seconds safe driving initiative. Donations help fund our “43 Key Seconds Safe Driving Talk” and distribute physical 43 Key Seconds units to equip drivers with the tools needed to prioritize safety behind the wheel.
Prepared for Life (PFL) Scholarships
This year, we awarded 20 deserving students our $4,300 PFL Scholarship. These students exemplified outstanding character in the areas of service and leadership, showing what it means to be a positive ambassador for safe driving through our 43 Key Seconds safe driving initiative. With your help, we aim to award more deserving students our $4,300 PFL Scholarship.
Adapted PE Field Days
Philip had a special place in his heart for students with special needs. Our Adapted PE Field Days allow us to continue his legacy. Funds give students with special needs and disabilities the opportunity to enjoy a field day with equipment and games that everyone can participate in! We provide busing, volunteers and everything else needed to ensure the students and teachers can have a day they will never forget!
